CATI

CATI stands for Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing and we want to say up front that it's not just about asking questions. It's actually all about listening and take it from us - there really is more to listening than you've heard!
We've got an experienced project management team for telephone studies and at Indiefield we believe in listening with a purpose. We set out to collect information that correctly records how another person feels and to really bring it to life for you we can digitally record the interview so you or your client can hear it straight from the horses mouth.
Plus we know that people do actually enjoy being listened to and having an interesting conversation about a subject that is relevant to them.
At Indiefield we believe that in order successfully conduct telephone surveys we need to make sure we really listen. And we believe that real listening is a very active process. Listening really is a skill.
We always give our full attention to the person who is speaking. We don't look out the window or at what else is going on in the room - we focus on what is being said. We believe people appreciate being able to say everything they would like to say. We probe fully to make sure we understand what the speaker has said. At appropriate points during the interview we let the speaker know we are really listening by saying uh-huh and yes and so on. These are all ways to show your respondent that we are actively listening to them.
